On October 18th, be prepared for a whirlwind of roundhouse kicks and cheesy one-liners as we
are hosting an action-packed party to celebrate the birthday of a Belgian legend. In honor of
Jean Claude Van Damme, the Muscles from Brussels, the brewery will be filled with specialty
beers, kickass food pairings from Tucker Duke’s Boca Raton, movie spotlights, photo ops, hero
moments and more. Come help us toast the most glorious Belgian (maybe human) in the history
of mankind, as we celebrate Van Damme Day!
What better way to celebrate JCVD’s b-day, than by admiring his impact on cinema and culture,
his Belgian heritage and his awesome ability to do the splits with a bold celebration of beer, food
and fun?

Barrel of Monks
Bringing a little Belgium to Boca, Barrel of Monks is a brewery that strives for something
different in the Sunshine State. In a land of IPAs and fruity treatment ales, Barrel of Monks
sticks to the roots of brewing with inspiration from the historic ales of Belgium, a sprinkle of
sunshine, all made in a state-of-the-art brewery.
Founded by good friends who came together to create something that has seldom been done in
the United States, Barrel of Monks is a brewery making exclusively Belgian-style beer, with a
strict focus on quality – combining traditional techniques with modern technology.
