Judging by the influx of awesome new businesses, it’s safe to say that South Florida locals know how to capitalize on the vast seasonal tourism and boost in condensed population. It may not be the “busy season” but new businesses are consistently popping up everywhere in South Florida.
There are some phenomenal and exceptional shops around South Florida that are doing some pretty amazing stuff – inside and outside their walls, and within the community. In the spirit of local entrepreneurship, here are a few of our favorite local restaurants, lifestyle, beauty, and fitness businesses popping up in your area.
FROPRO
1200 Clint Moore Rd, Boca Raton | 561-990-7445
If you have stepped foot in any Boca Raton gym, there’s a good chance you’ve seen someone athletically sporting a FROPRO t-shirt. Chelsea and Matt Williams have started an entire community dedicated to bettering themselves and everyone around them. The message behind FROPRO hinges on second chances and measuring success in the effort and not just achievements.
This husband/wife duo has taken the protein-rich snack bars to a whole new level. FRO PRO bars are made with organic nut butter and organic, plant-based protein, reinforcing that “good food fuels you to be the best version of yourself.” The mission of this power couple supersedes their delicious snack bars – FRO PRO supports a cause that is very personal to Matt and Chelsea.
Matt Williams has been sober and actively involved in the recovery community since 2010. Matt and Chelsea wanted to use their snack business for good. The FROPRO Foundation identifies and partners with individuals and organizations within the local community committed to combating addiction.
The FROPRO Foundation helps raise awareness on addiction, supports people in recovery, works in conjunction with charities to give recovering addicts a second chance, and creates a network on which people can rely as they get and stay sober. We love everything about this business and we say don’t just snack, give back!
