August 24, 2017– Contestants will travel to Orlando, Florida from all over the United States to compete at the Omni Orlando Resort on November 17th & 18th, 2017. Each year $7,000 in scholarships are awarded to contestants at the national competition.
National Director, Ciera Ingram says “The idea behind the Miss Heart of the USA Pageant is to teach girls of all ages the importance of giving back to their community. We partner with non-profits across the United States, determining what their specific needs are and then host pageant that focuses on meeting those needs. It is really a win for everyone involved because we work towards meeting the needs of the non-profit organization we are working with and as a result the girls get to see first hand the huge impact they can have on their community when we all work together for a common goal. Through Miss Heart of the USA pageants, millions of non perishable food items have been donated to non profit organizations across the United States.”
In Orlando Miss Heart of the USA is working with Servant’s Heart Ministry, an organization that has cultivated partnerships with 16 Orange County Public Schools and last year alone distributed 350,000 meals to those who otherwise could not afford enough food to be healthy. Servants Heart is providing nutrition to the most vulnerable in our society — children and seniors. It is one of the many reasons Miss Heart of the
USA is incredibly proud to partner with them.
State pageants are currently being held across the United States to qualify contestants for the 2017 National Pageant. Contestants residing in states that do not have a state competition can register as state delegates to represent their state at the Miss Heart of the USA Pageant at www.missheartoftheusa.org.
